Antique Art Deco Czech Glass Filigree Panel Bracelet | Green Glass Cabochons | c
A beautiful example of early 20th-century costume jewelry, this circa 1920s Art Deco bracelet features four ornate pierced filigree panels, each set with a large domed seafoam-green glass cabochon surrounded by smaller emerald-green glass accents.
The openwork metal panels have wonderful scrolling detail and a naturally aged warm brass-tone finish. Each panel is individually linked, allowing the bracelet to articulate beautifully around the wrist. The combination of jewel-toned green glass and intricate filigree gives this piece that unmistakable Czech/Bohemian jewelry look of the Art Deco period.
The bracelet retains its antique thumbless spring-ring clasp, an early style of spring-ring closure without the small lever or “thumb” found on later versions. It’s a lovely little construction detail that complements the bracelet’s estimated age.
