Art Nouveau Revival Lariat Necklace

A broken necklace became the beginning of something entirely new.
This one-of-a-kind House of Holliday design features a vintage Art Nouveau-style brass medallion created by carefully soldering two antique brass stampings into a dimensional focal pendant. The flowing portrait of a maiden framed by florals captures the graceful elegance of the Art Nouveau era, while the openwork construction gives the pendant depth and character.
The necklace itself was hand-looped bead by bead using reclaimed vintage aurora borealis crystal drops salvaged from a damaged necklace. Every connection was individually formed by hand, transforming forgotten components into a striking lariat silhouette that catches the light with every movement.
Rather than restoring a single piece, this necklace celebrates the beauty of reinvention—preserving the craftsmanship of the past while creating something entirely original.
