Czech Glass Button Statement Necklace

A forgotten collection of vintage treasures has been transformed into a wearable piece of art. At the heart of this necklace is a stunning antique Czech glass button featuring brilliant rhinestones, rich blue glass accents, and a luminous opalescent center. Rather than letting these beautiful pieces remain tucked away in a drawer, I paired the button with an ornate vintage filigree finding, repurposed chain from an older necklace, and crystal beads salvaged from a stretched-out Art Deco-era beaded necklace.
The cascading crystal drops add graceful movement while preserving the character and history of the original materials. Every component has been thoughtfully selected, cleaned, and reimagined by hand, creating a piece that feels both timeless and entirely unique.
