Reimagined Glass Bead Necklace | Art Nouveau Cloisonné Statement Ne
Once a mid-century signed Japan glass bead necklace dating to approximately the 1940s–1950s, this one-of-a-kind piece has been thoughtfully deconstructed and reimagined into an elegant Y-necklace.
The original vibrant red Japanese glass beads were preserved and paired with faceted black glass spacer beads to create striking contrast. At the center, an ornate Art Nouveau-inspired gold-tone connector leads to a hand-painted cloisonné bead, finished with a graceful drop of coordinating vintage glass beads that adds movement and sophistication.
This necklace honors the craftsmanship of vintage materials while embracing a completely new design—creating a wearable piece of history that can never be duplicated.
