The Annie Coleman Bangle

$68.00Price

A broken Victorian bracelet, preserved rather than forgotten.

The Annie Coleman began as a delicate gold-filled bracelet engraved with elegant floral and foliate details and accented by tiny red paste stones. The original bracelet was too fragile to wear safely on its own and had already been broken, so I carefully attached it to a sturdy vintage base-metal bangle—allowing its beautiful decorative surface and history to live on without placing additional stress on the original piece.

The bracelet takes its name from “Annie Coleman,” the name inscribed inside the original Victorian band. Although her story may be lost to time, her bracelet now begins a new chapter as a wearable, one-of-a-kind House of Holliday creation.

The result is a substantial mixed-metal bangle that retains the age, patina, engraving, and imperfections of the antique original. It is not a reproduction or a newly manufactured vintage-style piece; it is a genuine damaged treasure that has been thoughtfully reinforced and reimagined.
