Vintage Damascene Bird & Floral Brooch – Filigree Gold Tone

A gorgeous vintage damascene-style brooch featuring an ornate bird surrounded by flowers and scrolling foliage. The central oval has a rich black background embellished with intricate gold-tone decoration, including a beautifully detailed bird in flight and an assortment of botanical motifs.
What really sets this piece apart is the delicate gold-tone filigree frame surrounding the center. The airy loops and scrolls create an almost lace-like border and give the brooch a particularly elegant, ornate appearance.
