Vintage Damascene Bow Brooch – Black, Gold & Silver Floral

An absolutely beautiful vintage damascene-style bow brooch with intricate floral and scrolling details throughout. The openwork ribbon design is decorated in warm gold tone against blackened recesses, with contrasting silver-tone flowers and accents that really make the pattern pop.
I especially love the construction of this one—the looping ribbon and trailing ends give it wonderful movement, while the tiny flowers, scrollwork, and dimensional knot make it feel much more elaborate than your typical bow brooch.
The reverse is gold tone with a traditional pin stem and clasp. No maker’s mark is visible.
