Vintage Miriam Haskell Heraldic Crest Brooch – Gold Tone Fleur-de-Lis & Ram
A striking vintage Miriam Haskell heraldic brooch featuring an ornate coat-of-arms design in warm antiqued gold-tone metal. The central shield is decorated with a diagonal band, fleur-de-lis, and stylized ram’s head, surrounded by elaborate scrolling foliage and topped with a plumed knight’s helmet.
This appears to be a known Miriam Haskell heraldic design: I found another example with the same shield, fleur-de-lis, ram and helmet configuration, described as dating to the 1950s and finished in Haskell’s characteristic Russian-gilt style. Similar Haskell heraldic and coat-of-arms pieces are also documented across the vintage market.
The reverse retains its original pin mechanism and is clearly signed with the applied oval “MIRIAM HASKELL” cartouche.
